As announced in late march, delivery of our new chipmem expansion for the A600 has begun last week. In addition to 1MByte of additional chipmem and a realtime clock, it offers a clockport for selected A1200 expansions and a socket for the forthcoming flickerfixer "Indivision ECS".
Special thanks must go to our trade partners who made a stable price possible with their engagement: The price of the A603 remained the same as the price for the predecessor from the year 2006. We'd like to mention AmigaKit from England and Red's Retro Computing from the USA, who placed the biggest pre-orders. Vesalia's contribution wasn't less important: In addition to their pre-order, they donated the 80's style packing:
The A603 expansion is available for 39,90 EUR(*) at our retail partners. For operaton of the realtime clock, a coin cell type CR2032 is required, which is not included with the expansion. Installation requires opening the computer and modification of the metal shield, if the computer is equipped with it.
